The Christmas Tender Campaign is our annual campaign which calls on government clients to prioritise mental health by putting a pause on all procurement tenders over the Christmas/New Year holiday period. In 2018, QLD's Department of Transport and Main Roads was the first government client to agree to the pause and introduce a policy. In 2022, Consult Australia wrote to over 100 government clients seeking a similar commitment with around 50 percent providing positive feedback.
2022 was the fifth consecutive year of the campaign, and the second year we are joined by the Australian Constructors Association, Engineers Australia, Roads Australia, and the Australasian Railway Association.
