Natalie Muir - President

Regional Director, Environment & Geosciences | Stantec

Natalie is an experienced executive leader with over 25 years’ experience across water and environment sectors. She is currently the Regional Director for Environment and Geosciences within Stantec Australia. In this role she drives policy, business direction, operational protocols, growth and staff engagement across her operating portfolio and more broadly across Stantec as part of the Australian Leadership Team.

Across her various roles, Natalie has built a reputation as a strong and capable leader, who has a strong technical and business understanding, and the ability to guide, mentor and inspire individuals to be innovative thinkers, challenging them to deliver solutions that overcome complex problems. She has a collaborative leadership style and is a strong proponent for the benefits of collaborative contract models. 

Natalie is also the Vice Chair of the FIDIC Sustainable Development Committee and was highly commended in the 2019 Consult Australia Champions of Change Female Leadership Award.

Emily Sunman

Chief Legal and Risk Officer | Aurecon

Emily is Aurecon’s Chief Legal & Risk Officer and a member of the Aurecon Group Executive Leadership Team. She worked for major multinational companies and law firms in Sydney and London before joining Aurecon in 2018. In her current role she has a broad remit leading teams supporting Aurecon in the areas of Legal, Risk, Insurance, Quality and Sustainability.

Emily believes that the most effective organisations are ones that embed their purpose into the way that they run and manage their business. She is particularly focused on embedding all elements of sustainability into business operations in a way that improves the future for people and the planet.

Guy Pinzone

Guy Pinzone is one of three executives at Turnbull Engineering who oversee all aspects of company management. As Director of Growth, he is responsible for company growth as well as new business and commercial transactions. With almost 20 years of experience in consulting, Guy has held multiple operational management roles as well as governance oversight of design teams on mega projects.

Guy is passionate about working and leading collaborative teams to achieve successful outcomes; and advocating for the role of consultants in our society. He's recently been involved with Consult Australia's NSW Committee for many years.-

Rachel Nicholls

Principal | Arup

Rachel leads multidisciplinary teams and major infrastructure projects for Arup in Victoria. Working in the infrastructure, building and energy sectors, she has extensive knowledge of managing contractual arrangements and construction working environments. 
 
With over 30 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and design management, she is passionate about using technical, leadership and communication skills to shape better outcomes for people and the built environment. From 2016 to 2020, she was a Victorian Consult Australia committee member, including a three-year tenure as Chair.

Sam McWilliam

Managing Director of Transport | WSP

Sam is the Managing Director of Transport at WSP and has over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering large multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. Since joining WSP in 2004, Sam has worked across Australia and South East Asia on several city shaping transport projects including NSW Fast Rail, Sydney Metro Northwest, City and Southwest and West, Western Express/City rail expansion, and the South Island Line East Project in Hong Kong.
 
An engineer by training, Sam uses her problem-solving, communication and leadership skills to get the best results. She is passionate about forming large, diverse teams to achieve great project and operational outcomes.

With 20 years experience working with design firms in the built environment, Tamsin is a is a proud advocate of diversity of gender, culture, and ideas. She is passionate about digital innovation and collaboration and developing industry capability.

Market Director | Defence and National Security, BECA

David is a senior executive with over two decades of experience in consulting across Defence, transport, water, and resources sectors. He has held senior leadership roles at Beca and URS Corporation (AECOM) and worked internationally with the United Nations Compensation Commission.

 

As Market Director – Defence at Beca, David leads the strategic direction and leadership of the Defence and National Security market across Australia and the Indo-Pacific. He is a member of Beca’s Australian Leadership Group, and a former Chair of Consult Australia’s Defence Roundtable.

 

David is passionate about building trusted partnerships, mentoring emerging leaders, and driving collaborative outcomes across complex stakeholder environments. His leadership style is inclusive, strategic, and outcomes-focused, with a strong emphasis on integrity and long-term value creation.

Alexandra Wright is an executive leader with over 20 years’ experience across management, technical delivery, and strategic roles. She is currently the Regional General Manager, Western Australia at GHD, driving operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and business growth across the region.

A civil engineer by profession, Alexandra is an outcomes-focused strategist known for building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. She has managed projects ranging from small-scale engagements to major alliances across both private and public sectors and has developed her leadership through diverse roles, including serving on GHD’s Board Strategy and Finance Committees and as a Director of GHD Pty Ltd.
