Three quarters of respondents to our latest membership survey told us they were operating in a higher risk environment than just 12 months ago.

This is no surprise. The last four years of pandemic lockdowns and supply chain disruptions, cost escalation and record rates of insolvencies, rising inflation and geopolitical uncertainty have taken their toll on all corners of the industry.

Heidi Sick has been appointed as regional business line director for energy and environment in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Heidi will lead AECOM’s 700-strong energy and environment team to deliver a pipeline of nationally significant projects as the transition to renewable energy accelerates. 

Simon Gray and Carina Bogaard have joined risk advisory and advocacy firm Bellrock. The pair have worked together for 17 years. Simon has a three-decade career as an insurance intermediary and a partner in private legal practice. For the last 18 years he has been advising and advocating for construction professionals’ risk.
