With 10 award categories, the Consult Australia Awards for Excellence will once again recognise outstanding leadership, technical expertise and a commitment to best practices.
Among the categories are accolades for small, medium and large Firm of the Year, the prestigious Consult Australia President’s Award, and the coveted Future Leader Award.
This year’s winners celebrated remarkable achievements. Stuart Manley, who received the Consult Australia President’s Award, was honoured for his enduring impact over a 35-year career. Geotron, Tonkin and SMEC were applauded for innovative digital, design and environmental solutions. Dr Michael Vinod clinched the Future Leader Award for integrating specialist radar technology into a diverse range of projects.
The Awards for Excellence have always been about more than just trophies, notes Linda Gaunt, Consult Australia's Head of Engagement. “They are a call to action for the industry to challenge the status quo and continue to drive Australia’s engineering and design sectors forward.”
Submissions opened on 26 September 2024. The awards are open to members and non-members. Consult Australia members benefit from a discount on submission fees, “which underscores the value of being part of the Consult Australia community”.
“This year we will offer more detailed feedback from the judges so those who are not successful can continually improve their applications for future years,” Linda says.
The awards program will culminate in a gala dinner at the ICC Sydney on 27 March 2025.
"The evening will feature great entertainment and is an opportunity to connect, celebrate and build relationships across the sector, so book early,” Linda concludes.
Submissions for the 2025 awards will close on 19 December 2024.
