Awards fanfare and feedback

Submissions for the Consult Australia Awards for Excellence are now open, with a deadline of Thursday 19 December. This year, for the first time, a dedicated feedback portal will give entrants valuable insights to help refine future submissions.

The 2024-25 Awards for Excellence provide a unique opportunity for Australia’s leading design, advisory and engineering firms to showcase their achievements. From delivering exceptional outcomes for communities to driving sustainability and service excellence, the awards celebrate leadership, innovation and collaboration across the industry.

“The Consult Australia Awards for Excellence is a fantastic platform for firms to gain well-deserved recognition from their industry peers,” says Linda Gaunt, Head of Engagement at Consult Australia.

“The prestige that comes with winning helps businesses strengthen their brands, attract top talent and demonstrate their commitment to excellence.

“But the awards are about more than the accolades. Being part of these awards allows firms to benchmark their work against industry best practices and opens doors to new client relationships. Plus, the networking opportunities at the Awards Gala create lasting connections.”

A key feature of this year’s awards program is the introduction of a new feedback portal. After the awards are announced, all entrants will have access to detailed insights from the judging panel, with unsuccessful entrants receiving constructive feedback to help improve their future entries.

“We’ve developed this portal in response to member requests for more detailed insights,” Linda says. “Our judging process is built on professionalism and impartiality. The feedback portal now ensures every entrant, regardless of the outcome, walks away with valuable takeaways to build on.”
