Aurecon appoints Louise Adams as CEO

Aurecon’s current Chief Operating Officer Louise Adams will step into the role of Group Chief Executive on 1 July 2025.


Louise joined Aurecon, one of the largest employee-owned engineering and advisory companies in Asia Pacific, as a graduate 25 years ago. 


Aurecon’s first female Group CEO, Louise takes the reins from William Cox, who has led the firm for the past six years.


“I believe we have entered the ‘age of the engineer’ where engineers are absolutely critical when it comes to solving the impacts of climate change,” Louise says.


“This new role opens up an even larger platform for me to drive positive change for people and the planet and shape the future of Aurecon, ensuring that we stay relevant, true and successful for years to come.”

MI Engineers welcomes new CEO

Salvatore Lacaria has joined MI Engineers as its new Chief Executive Officer. Salvatore brings over two decades of leadership experience delivering multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects across the transport, energy, utilities and defence sectors. 


A former partner with KPMG Australia, Salvatore was instrumental in delivering the $11.5 billion Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport PMO project. Salvatore also held leadership roles at Tenix (Downer), Jacobs and Aquenta Consulting.


Rob MacDonald, Founder and Non-Executive Director of MI Engineers, says Salvatore’s “depth of experience across diverse infrastructure projects, combined with a forward-thinking approach to client partnerships and sustainability, makes him uniquely positioned to drive innovation and expand our capabilities.”

Camille McGregor promoted at Jacobs

Camille McGregor has been appointed Jacobs Senior Vice President and General Manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Camille has held various leadership roles in sales, operations and market solutions during her 22 years with Jacobs. Her most recent position was Vice President Growth & Sales for ANZ. In her new role, Camille will be responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives for the ANZ. 


“I believe passionately that as leaders our role is to support our people to reach their full potential so that, in turn, they can help our clients reach theirs. I look forward to leading and supporting the ANZ team as we continue to create lasting, sustainable value and deliver positive outcomes for our clients and our people, now and into the future,” Camille says.

Carl Willis leads GHD’s South Australian team

Carl Willis has taken on the role of General Manager for GHD’s South Australia Region. Carl has spent the past five years working as GHD’s Global Leader for Delivery Transformation and aims to drive new ways of working through the local operation.

 
Carl has 25-plus years of experience in engineering consultancy. He was previously Regional General Manager of GHD’s Philippines Operation. GHD SA currently has more than 200 staff in Adelaide. 

New Head of Defence for DT Infrastructure

Mike Rinaudo has joined DT Infrastructure as its new Head of Defence, moving from ADCO Constructions where he spent five years as defence sector lead.


Mike has 30 years of experience across the defence, aviation and infrastructure sectors. He has held leadership roles in construction, consulting and the Royal Australian Air Force. Among his achievements are leading the North Queensland Mid-Term Refresh Program, the Larrakeyah Barracks Redevelopment and the Moorebank Units Relocation.
