Andrew Mailer to lead Beca in Australia

Beca, one of Asia Pacific's largest, employee-owned advisory, design and engineering consultancies, has appointed Andrew Mailer as its new Managing Director for Australia.

Based in Sydney, Andrew joins Beca with more than 15 years’ strategic leadership experience gained through roles in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Most recently he served as a general manager at Tetra Tech Coffey, and as Asia Pacific Head of Strategy and Growth at Tetra Tech.


Beca Group Chief Executive, Amelia Linzey, says Andrew brings strong leadership expertise to the role and will support Beca’s desire to grow in Australia.

Fulton Hogan Egis secures M6 Stage 1 Motorway contract

Leading global firm, Fulton Hogan Egis, has been awarded the 30-year Asset Management contract for the M6 Stage 1 Motorway by Transport for NSW (TfNSW).

Over the course of the contract, Fulton Hogan Egis will manage all aspects of the asset to maximise whole-of-life outcomes and provide commuters with safe, reliable access and improved connectivity to Sydney’s south.

The M6 is part of the 40-year vision of the NSW Government for transport outcomes in NSW. Stage 1 of the motorway will consist of twin road tunnels, approximately four kilometres in length, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue in Kogarah.

The M6 represents a significant investment in the future of Sydney's transportation infrastructure. The dual model deployed by TfNSW, aligns with Egis’ unique end-to-end offering, linking asset management consultancy skills with the safe operations of the motorway.”

Fulton Hogan Egis will develop systems and collaborate with key project stakeholders to ensure readiness to commence asset management services when the M6 Stage 1 opens.
