Global professional services company GHD has named May Lin Chew as Chief Legal Officer, joining the company’s Enterprise Leadership Team in August. With over 25 years of global corporate experience, May Lin has led large, cross-functional and global legal teams advising on large-scale infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and complex transactions. 

Rocío Rutter, Pitt & Sherry’s Head of Growth & Advisory, is the new chair of the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance (MECLA) Working Group 2 – Evaluation. In this position, Rocío will work with industry, government and construction materials supply chain representatives to measure, benchmark and reduce the upfront carbon emissions of our infrastructure sector.

Tom Butler has been appointed Energy Practice Leader for Aurecon in Western Australia and Northern Territory. He was previously head of distributed energy in WA for the Australian Energy Market Operator, a position he held for nearly seven years.

The Consult Australia Champions of Change Coalition has a new Chair, Arup’s Australasia Co-Chair Kerryn Coker, who is “ready to roll up my sleeves and get on with the job”.
