Beaton’s Client Choice Awards hits 20 years

Beaton’s Client Choice Awards hits 20 years

In its landmark 20th anniversary year, a staggering 250 firms entered the competition, vying for recognition across 59 categories. After combing through over 16,000 client ratings, Beaton has awarded top titles to Australia’s best and brightest.

Consult Australia congratulates all the finalists and winners including: Beca awarded the Best Built & Natural Environment Consulting Firm (>200million) and finalists in that same category: Arcadis, Aurecon, Jacobs and Stantec and finalists BG&E, Douglas Partners, Northrop, SLR and ATC Williams in their respective categories.

Since its inception, the Client Choice Awards have served as a beacon of excellence, acknowledging outstanding performance across a diverse array of sectors in Australia and New Zealand. From accounting and consulting services to intellectual property and law, the awards recognise the best of the best.

The Client Choice Awards are the only professional services awards in the world that determine winning firms by clients’ feedback, rather than the opinions of industry experts or panels. Presented in partnership with Westpac, the winners were announced on 20 March.

For the first time in 2024, the Client Choice Awards will also add new questions measuring perceived trust in firms. The 20th year thus heralds a new era of benchmarking that aligns with modern client expectations that their advisors conduct business with ethics and integrity.

The client ratings that determine winners of the awards serve a dual purpose. The same data is analysed in the annual Beaton Benchmarks study, which began in 2003 and compares professional services firms of a similar size and industry across a range of metrics.

Entering the Client Choice Awards provides firms with fast-tracked access to Beaton Benchmarks – an exclusive report on where your firm sits among competitors in relation to price, brand and other measures. It is a robust process for Beaton, canvassing the opinions of thousands of clients who each provide up to 190 data points, but is an easy process for firms to enter.

It is free to enter, and it gives entrants the option to get feedback from clients, while potentially being celebrated as a finalist or winner. With over two decades of comprehensive datasets, the Benchmarking reports are a source of exponential growth for firms, and actively help shape a better industry.
