Interested in joining the Consult Australia Board?

Nominations are now open for three positions on the Consult Australia Board of Directors, offering members an opportunity to help shape the organisation’s direction over the next three years.
Nominations close on Thursday, 17 September, ahead of Consult Australia’s Annual General Meeting on 22 October 2026.
The Board provides strategic direction and governance for Consult Australia, drawing on the experience and perspectives of leaders from across the consulting industry.
Consult Australia National President Natalie Muir encourages members from across the membership to consider nominating.
“A strong Board of Directors brings together different perspectives, experiences and ideas. Consult Australia represents a diverse industry and we want the Board to reflect that breadth. It’s a real privilege to shape the organisation that is the voice of our industry and I’d encourage members who want influence the future direction of Consult Australia to put their hand up,” Natalie says.
Three directors will reach the end of their terms at the AGM. One is standing down, while two will stand for re-election.
Nominations representing a mix of genders, skills and professions, locations, firm sizes and levels of experience are particularly encouraged.
Elected directors serve a three-year term, with an indicative time commitment of 10–15 hours a month. The role includes attending Board and committee meetings, participating in state and territory activities, and being a visible advocate for Consult Australia and its members.
Voting members and representatives of member firms are eligible to nominate. Candidates must complete the Director Nomination Form, outlining their qualifications, reasons for nominating and relevant skills, and submit it with a one-page curriculum vitae.
Nominations close at 5pm AEST on Thursday, 17 September 2026.
Candidate information and voting forms will be distributed to voting members ahead of the AGM at 12pm AEDT on Thursday, 22 October 2026.
