TAS COMMITTEE

The TAS Committee gives members the opportunity to develop strategies to tackle local issues as well as contribute to the national agenda. Committee participants are often called upon to represent Consult Australia in local engagement activities (including meetings with government agencies etc). The list of current TAS Committee participants is available on our roundtables, committees & forums page.

OUR INFLUENCE - FORUMS

One of the ways we influence, government stakeholders in particular, is by actively participating in forums. Our ability to secure seats at these forums demonstrates that Consult Australia is recognised as an essential stakeholder. In Tasmania, Consult Australia engages with government Ministers, departments, agencies and corporations on a broad range of issues – as detailed below. At these, Consult Australia is generally represented by Jane, our Tas Manager although there is significant opportunities for our members to attend to represent the industry. If you would like to be involved in these, please contact Jane to find out more.
