2019 FutureNet Business Leaders Program

Highly regarded across the industry, Consult Australia’s FutureNet Business Leaders Course has been running annually for more than a decade, with its alumni in the public and private sector sought-after by employers and clients alike. 

Through sixteen sessions delivered over eight months, the Course builds on existing personal strengths, develops new skills, and broadens networks. 

Course participants also complete a multi-disciplinary team project supported by an accomplished industry mentor. The project takes participants out of their comfort zone, and puts into practice the skills and knowledge developed through the course. 

Winning project teams are selected based on both a public vote and their presentations to a panel of industry judges. 

A once-in-a-career opportunity to reward and support your best employees, the Course targets built and natural environment professionals with 5 to 10 years of experience who are highly valued by their organisations and seen as future leaders.

Time Commitment

Course sessions will run every second Thursday in a central Sydney location from 5:00pm to 8:30pm, including networking time and dinner. 

Participants are also expected to make time outside of the sessions to work with their team on the project element(s) of the Course. 

Registration includes two tickets to the Awards Night in October for the participant and their manager. 


Each year the structure and topics of the Course are adjusted based on feedback from participants, their managers, as well as trends and needs within the sector.
