About FutureNet

FutureNet is an initiative of Consult Australia, providing young professionals with opportunities to network with their peers and other representatives from their industry by attending engaging social and educational events. FutureNet Committees are made up of keen members from all parts of the industry including, but not limited to, engineers, architects, lawyers, project managers, cost managers (quantity surveyors), planners, environmental scientists, interior designers, developers, construction professionals and financial service professionals.

Since 2001, FutureNet has been helping young professionals develop the valuable networks and non-technical skills that are essential to success in today’s competitive marketplace. Consult Australia first launched FutureNet in Perth and the initiative now has Committees in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne, Newcastle, Townsville, and Sydney.

FutureNet Committees develop and grow links with other professional bodies, industry groups and academia to ensure young professionals attending the events are kept up-to-date on topical issues and challenges, ensuring they are on the cutting edge of their industry.

Although FutureNet is owned and managed by Consult Australia, the creative direction of the events is lead and organised by the hard-working committees that help drive the programs. See below to find out who the Committee members are in your area.
