Mike Thackray is an Australian chartered civil and coastal engineer and project/construction manager with 5 decades’ experience as a government engineer, structural designer, design & construction contractor and consultant. He has successfully delivered a broad range of civil, marine, structural and multi-disciplinary projects on time and budget in Australia, UAE and UK. He is also a highly experienced quality & systems manager and certified lead auditor.

He established Yachtmarinas Australia Pty Ltd in 1987 as a specialist civil /coastal consultancy delivering successful projects for public and private sector clients until 2002. He re-established it in 2021 aiming to “add value to civil and coastal projects” and its services are in demand.
