Claire is a proud Aboriginal woman with an established track record within State Government for managing complex portfolios. In her current role as Executive Director at School Infrastructure, Claire works with her colleagues to shape the delivery of the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW. A record $6.7 billion was invested in upgrading and delivering new schools over four years with a focus on ensuring that schools are the centre of community. Claire is tasked with pursuing opportunities for partnerships across government and industry and ensuring that student and community voice is front and centre in School Infrastructure NSW projects. She is always focused on making a difference. With an established history within State Government, Claire’s diverse experience has included Executive Director Strategy, Governance and Digital at the NSW Treasury, coordinating the delivery of Global NSW which aims to connect NSW to the world by growing leading industries and creating great places to live, work and study. Claire was also previously Director of Strategic Communication at the Department of Education and Managing Operational Communications and State-Wide Transport Operations for Transport for NSW, which involved responding to major incidents such as natural disasters and the Sydney Siege and delivering the St Helena Tunnel project.
