Determine the right digital strategy for your A&E firm

The challenges for architecture and engineering business leaders today is to take their companies through the next avalanche of digital transformations that is set to engulf the way we are all expected to work.
The most successful digital initiatives are centered on envisioning operational processes and business model innovation, not merely introducing new technology, that enable growth and enlivens the customer journey.

Join industry experts Scott Carver and Deltek as they explore how consultancies can make the fundamental shift in their business with a digital transformation strategy and adapting to new thinking.

• The modern workforce:   How technology information enables cross-department collaboration and help break down operational silos
• Changing customer expectation: Simplify the way you do business by creating a seamless experience
• Automation and data-driven decisions to take the guesswork out of business decisions: Learn how bringing together your project and business information makes work easier, and help to compete
• Artificial Intelligence, Alerts and Workflows:  Can it help keep you ahead of the curve and stay in front of the changing market?

Rodney Paesler, Managing Director,Scott Carver

Joining the business in 1992, Rodney’s early career was founded on empowering fast and accurate decision-making using relational database computers. Today, he remains fascinated with technology – its application in robotics for construction efficiencies, pre-fabrication and building manufacturing. He is equally fascinated by the resilience of ancient civilisations, by their great achievements in order, civility and experience.

Rodney has a personal philosophy for ‘keeping it simple’, as evidenced in his many project achievements and in his approach to managing design professionals. He has an insatiable appetite to question the status quo, and is open to any challenge that improves our overall well-being as a community.

Daniel Mackay, Senior Business Development Manager, Deltek

Dan Mackay has spent most of his career in Cloud software, the past 8 years with several global leaders in Construction Software solutions. Dan was responsible for growing an online start-up tendering business into Australia’s biggest tendering network through which tenders worth over $48 billion dollars were managed last year. A firm believer in the benefits of digital transformation and the positive impacts it has on the Construction industry, Dan enjoys challenging the status quo and educating the industry around the benefits of moving online from manual, disconnected systems and processes.
Having recently become a father for the first time, Dan enjoys family life and the occasional game of footy (soccer) and round of golf.
