UWA is building a new home to transform the way Engineering and Mathematical Science students learn, research and engage with the community. EZONE UWA will provide an unparalleled student experience, building an innovative and collaborative culture based on a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) capability like no other in the country.

Due for completion in 2020, EZONE UWA will be a massive investment, both financial and intellectual, in WA’s knowledge economy that will deliver outstanding graduates and innovative solutions. The project has been transformative in its use of student engagement throughout design and construction, the use of innovative structural engineering solutions and the development of digital twin to allow ongoing research and testing of the building's operation throughout its lifecycle.

Hear from the team responsible for delivering this vision, including the Project Architect David Gulland of HASSELL, the Major Projects Manager Merv Shortt from UWA and Structural Engineer Chris Tyler from Pritchard Francis.
