As our cities grow and urbanise, energy demand is rising quickly and our infrastructure and policy need to keep up. To do so effectively, there are three challenges that must be addressed. These three elements make up the Energy Trilemma:
Energy Security – ensuring a reliable energy supply
Energy Sustainability – generating clean energy and reducing environmental harm
Energy Affordability – selling energy in a way that is equitable for all

Please join FutureNet ACT and our event sponsor Arup as we explore the Energy Trilemma in the Canberra, National and global contexts, with our panellists from the ANU, Arup and Crawford School of Public Policy. Light food and drink will be provided.

You can learn more about the Energy Trilemma with Arup’s 5 minute guide .
