Panellists:

Tara Dias - Technical Director, Infrastructure, Arcadis

Tara has 22 years of expeience in the Engineering Industry with a strong background as a civil engineer. She has undertaken numerous leadership roles on major transport infrastructure projects during her tender, concept design development and detailed design phases. Tara has a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of civil engineering and fosters a highly collaborative culture across multiple interdisciplinary teams to acheive cohesive solution.

 

Beyond projects, Tara undertakes the national role of Key Account Manager for John Holland and her experience extends to business planning and management within the Highways Business unit.

 

Erwin Budde - Director, NGH Environmental

Erwin is an environmental planner with 20 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. He has an honours degree with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Environmental Engineering Management. He is an RABQSA Principal Environmental Auditor and a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP).

Erwin began his career as an ecologist, moving into environmental planning and assessment and compliance. He has worked on a range of infrastructure projects, including large road, bridge, rail, energy and pipeline projects. He has been the Independent Environmental Representative for major road, water and energy projects across NSW.

Erwin is NGH Environmental’s Practice Leader in Environmental Management. He has extensive experience delivering advice on environmental risk and compliance, conducting independent environmental audits, preparing and implementing environmental management plans and facilitating business sustainability by integrating practical environmental management strategies into existing business systems. 
 

Dan Reeve - Market Director Transport & Logistics ANZ, SMEC

Dan leads SMEC's Transport Team across Australia, which takes in Transport Planning, Logistics and Analytics, Roads and Highways, Rail, Structures, Ports and Airports. With more than 35 years' experience in Civil Engineering Construction, Dan has Direct expertise in the delivery of large design and construct transport infrastructure projects and has experience in the management of civil engineering and transport projects in both onsite in construction, supervision and as a design manager, project manager and project director.

 

Wiremu (Woody) Adds - Senior Systems Consultant, Deltek

Woody “Adds” value to the industry with his in-depth knowledge of the problems faced by AEC Professionals as they manage project and business-wide information. As a Systems Consultant at Deltek, who are a leading global provider of solutions to project based businesses, Woody’s role is to work with Engineering and Architectural practices across Australia and New Zealand to understand their specific project management challenges. With this knowledge Woody is then well equipped, with a range of industry specific products, to position the best solution for the practice – specifically to improve efficiencies, reduce risk, enable knowledge sharing and provide a platform for growth.

 

Jason Moore - Director - Construction Services, Southern Australia, AECOM

Jason leads AECOM’s Construction Services team for Southern Australia and has over 25 years’ experience in the management of large-scale building and infrastructure projects in Asia, Australia and the United Kingdom. He currently sits on the part Combined Leadership Team for the Easing Sydney Congestion Programme being delivered by RMS.
