Linda Gaunt | NSW State Manager

Linda Gaunt is a career association manager with over 20 years’ experience in managing not for profit organisations.   Linda’s success comprises developing and implementing sound association strategies and identifying market opportunities.

 Throughout her career Linda has proven her ability to deliver both growth and turn-around strategies that improve profitability. Linda possesses an expert level understanding of corporate governance, advocacy, membership growth and retention, event and exhibition management, sales and marketing, financial management, operations management, digitalisation and is adept at forging productive relationships that drive operational and organisational objectives.

Exceeding at building communities within industries and industry sectors Linda’s association experience commenced in Physical Education and Recreation, followed by Industry Training Councils and Industry Training Advisory Boards, the Australian Retailers Association, the Australian Institute of Management, Meetings & Events Australia as well as the Australian Dental Industry Association. 

Linda holds a Master’s of Business Administration and in 2005 was honoured to receive the Hudson Private and Community South Australian  Business Woman of the year as well as the overall Telstra South Australian Business Woman of the year.  Linda is now a member of the Telstra Business Woman's Alumni and has acted as a judge for the program on a number of occasions.

• A Seat at the Table Consulting Leadership Boardroom Luncheon Series - Hosted in an intimate setting to enable an open discussion, each event enables members to raise and discuss critical issues affecting businesses by providing exclusive access to key decision-makers in both the public and private sectors. These luncheons are for professionals and strategic thinkers wanting to participate in the conversations that are shaping our industry.

• Meet the Client Engagement Events - These interactive opportunities for members and non-members allow them to meet and build deeper relationships with key clients from the public and private sectors. Typically includes an introduction to the client’s operations, discussion on how the company would like to be supported by the consulting industry, and recent project case studies in buildings, infrastructure and rail.

• FutureNet Events for Future Industry Leaders - As part of the FutureNet program, these events are tailored to help build the knowledge and networks of young professionals who will be the industry leaders of tomorrow. Consult Australia coordinates a series of events throughout the year in conjunction with representative committees in Sydney and Newcastle.

• Breakfasts and Luncheons - Consult Australia also coordinates additional events throughout the year on topics relevant to the industry.
